Dr. Anastasia Ioannou
About
Dr. Anastasia Ioannou studied Computer Science at University of Leicester, where she received her BSc in 2011. She pursued her MSc degree in Advance Computational Methods, and her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Leicester, United Kingdom, in 2020. She is currently a Lecturer of Artificial Intelligence at European University Cyprus. Her research interests include Fault Identification and Diagnosis, Petri Nets, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Neural Networks. Dr. Ioannou is also a researcher in the REWIRE Project (Cyber Security), that is funded from Horizon Europe. Additionally, she is the Coordinator for the Computer Engineering and the Electrical and Electronic Engineering for EUC Franchise Programs at Minjiang University, Fuzhou City, China. During her academic career, Dr. Ioannou has taught various core courses both to undergraduate and postgraduate students; among them are Data Structures, Algorithms and Complexity, Artificial Intelligence, Programming Languages(Python, Java, C++, HTML, PHP, etc.) as well as Robotics and Networks. She has also supervised undergraduate and postgraduate students in their thesis and PhD, respectively.
