Prof. Petr Hájek, Ph.D.

Petr Hajek is a Professor of System Engineering and Informatics at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Pardubice. He is the guarantor of the MSc study program Applied Informatics – Data Science for Business and the PhD study program System Engineering and Informatics. He holds a PhD in System Engineering and Informatics and has been a full Professor in the same field at the University of Pardubice since 2020. He has served as the principal investigator of several research grants in the area of business data analytics, is an editor of several leading academic journals, and has received multiple Best Paper Awards from international conferences. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, knowledge-based systems, decision support systems, and text analytics.
